It was my first time photographing a wedding at Ye Olde Bell, the Christmas decorations were all up and the entrance to the hotel was covered in fairy lights. On a really cold day it was a great cosy venue perfect for a festive wedding. My day started in one of their beautiful hotel rooms where the bride Lauren and her bridesmaids were busy getting ready, all in matching red pyjamas. The morning went by quickly and it was soon time for the ceremony which was lovely and toasty with an open fire. After an emotional ceremony the guests enjoyed a drinks reception in the bar while we headed out into the gardens for photos. It was a freezing cold day but Lauren and James were great and happy to brave the cold for their photos before heading back inside to enjoy their wedding breakfast. The day went by quickly as it always does and soon the evening guests arrived and the party was in full swing. It was a pleasure to be part of their special day!
