Kate and James had chosen the beautiful Deighton Lodge in York for their special day. It was the first time I had been to Deighton Lodge and it was such a fantastic venue surrounded by open fields. Kate spent the morning getting ready at Deighton Lodge with her two bridesmaids before making her way to Riccall Church where herself and James made their vows. After a lovely ceremony Kate and James were showered with confetti and congratulated by all their family and friends. On returning to deighton Lodge guests enjoyed drinks and canapes while photosgraphs were taken before sitting down to their wedding breakfast. With the weather on our side we were able to get a few more bride and groom portraits as the sun began to set and the guests enjoyed ice creams and pizza in the garden.
